Description:
At 728 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Holly Springs to 6 miles west of Gillsburg,
moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mccomb, Liberty, Magnolia, Summit, Tylertown, Salem, Gillsburg, and
Mccomb Airport.
This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 2 and
22.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
