For the West Hobolochitto Creek...including McNeil...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...West Hobolochitto Creek near McNeil. * WHEN...Until late Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Some secondary roads near the stream north of Picayune will be inundated. Beech Street and Westchester Subdivision below the confluence of the east and west branches will be subject to flooding in low places. As the river level continues to recede, these conditions will improve. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Friday morning and continue falling to 8.9 feet Monday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
