For the Biloxi River...including Lyman...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Biloxi River near Lyman. * WHEN...Until Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Major flooding will occur in Retreat and Riverland Village Subdivisions at the 16 foot stage. Homes on lower Fisherman Trail will remain flooded and lower River Road will be impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 6.5 feet Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
