...The National Weather Service in Jackson MS has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi...
Chickasawhay River At Enterprise affecting Clarke County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Chickasawhay River at Enterprise.
* WHEN...From Tuesday morning to early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water beginning to overflow banks from the
confluence of Chunky River and Okatibbee Creek to approximately 3
miles downstream.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 20.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 26.5 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
morning.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
