At 958 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Brownsville, or 7 miles south of La Crosse, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Stoddard around 1005 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Mount La Crosse, Brinkman Ridge, Irish Hill, South Side Of La Crosse, Esofea, Goose Island, Highways 14 61 And County M M, Romance, County Roads O And Y, and Runge Hollow.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for west central Wisconsin.
