Description:
* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, visibility one quarter mile or
less in dense fog. For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to
91 expected.
* WHERE...In Minnesota, Pine and North St. Louis Counties. In
Wisconsin, Burnett, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes
the Tribal Lands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Bois
Forte Band, Nett Lake area, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County
and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley and, Lena Lake areas. Other
locations including Voyageurs National Park. This also includes
the Boundary Waters western area.
* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 10 AM CDT this morning.
For the Heat Advisory, from noon today to 8 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses. Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
Instruction:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and fog lights,
and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
