Description:
At 131 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms near Prinsburg, or 19 miles southwest of Willmar,
moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Maynard, Renville, Olivia, Clara City, Bird Island, Prinsburg,
Hector, Raymond, Kerkhoven, Murdock, Willmar, Cosmos, Greenleaf,
Atwater, New London, Spicer, Green Lake, Grove City, Litchfield and
Dassel.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
