Description:
At 237 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Grand Meadow, or 15 miles east of Austin, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Grand Meadow, Racine, Dexter, Elkton, Interstate 90 And County 1
and Hamilton.
This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 189 and
204.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
