At 1147 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms near Madison, or 25 miles west of Montevideo, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. The shower will be near... Madison around 1150 AM CDT. Appleton around 1210 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this shower include Cerro Gordo.
