At 914 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 5 miles northwest of Dundas to 9 miles north of Ellendale, or extending from 6 miles northwest of Northfield to 8 miles southwest of Owatonna, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Owatonna, Faribault, Northfield, Cannon Falls, Kenyon, Webster, Dundas, Medford, Stanton, Nerstrand, Bridgewater, Castle Rock, Lemond, Randolph, Clinton Falls, Merton, Moland, Hope, Deerfield and New Trier.
