Swift County in west central Minnesota... * Until 200 AM CDT. * At 119 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of Appleton, or 18 miles northwest of Montevideo, moving northeast at 55 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR MILAN, APPLETON, HOLLOWAY, LAKE OLIVER, DANVERS. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and small hail. SOURCE...Weather station reported. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely. * Locations impacted include...
