At 844 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast of
London, or 18 miles east of Albert Lea, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Twin Lakes, Albert Lea Airport, Albert Lea, Glenville, Myre Big
Island State Park, Hayward, Myrtle and London.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
