* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southeastern Freeborn County in south central Minnesota...
* Until 900 PM CDT.
* At 809 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Emmons, or 12
miles southwest of Albert Lea, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Twin Lakes, Albert Lea Airport, Albert Lea, Myre Big Island State
Park, Glenville, Hayward, Myrtle and London.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT Monday for a
portion of south central Minnesota.
