...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED TODAY... .The combination of low relative humidity (20 to 25 percent), breezy northwest winds, and dry fuels will lead to another day of critical fire weather conditions across central Minnesota. Minimum RH values possibly as low as 15-20% if mixing is maximized this afternoon. Wind speeds will be borderline with sustained speed 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 to 30 mph. The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a Red Flag Warning. * AFFECTED AREA...Portions of central, east central, and west central Minnesota. * TIMING...Until 9 PM CDT this evening. * WINDS...Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Around 20 to 25 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
