Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Dickinson, Menominee and Marinette Counties. Menominee River near McAllister affecting Menominee and Marinette Counties. For the Menominee River...including Vulcan, Niagara, McAllister... Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Menominee River near McAllister. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Floodwaters are covering River Drive and Shore Drive west of Wallace in Menominee County, Michigan and South Park Road east of Porterfield in Marinette County. This stage compares to a flow of 24240 cubic feet per second at White Rapids Dam. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM CDT Sunday was 18.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 15.5 feet Sunday, April 26. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
