...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin...Michigan... Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Marinette, Menominee and Dickinson Counties. For the Menominee River...including Florence, Twin Falls Dam-Iron Mountain, Vulcan, Niagara, Pembine, Menominee River at White Rapids Dam, Koss, McAllister...Minor, Moderate and Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Menominee River near Vulcan. * WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Structures along the river along Homestead Road and Sturgeon Way Road may start to be impacted by flood waters. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Thursday was 17.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slightly, then rise to a crest of 16.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
