Menominee River near Menominee River at White Rapids Dam affecting Marinette and Menominee Counties. Menominee River near Koss affecting Marinette and Menominee Counties. Menominee River near Florence affecting Florence, Dickinson and Iron Counties. Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Marinette, Menominee and Dickinson Counties. Menominee River near McAllister affecting Marinette and Menominee Counties. For the Menominee River...including Florence, Twin Falls Dam-Iron Mountain, Vulcan, Niagara, Pembine, Menominee River at White Rapids Dam, Koss, McAllister...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Menominee River near Niagara. * WHEN...Until Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 14.5 feet, In the city of Niagara, water begins to cover the Niagara boat landing on Tyler Road, and water approaches homes along Sherman Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:00 AM CDT Thursday was 14.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.4 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.1 feet on 04/27/1996 and 14.5 feet on 04/24/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
