...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...Michigan...
Menominee River near Florence affecting Florence, Iron and
Dickinson Counties.
Menominee River near Niagara affecting Marinette, Menominee,
Florence and Dickinson Counties.
Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Marinette, Menominee and
Dickinson Counties.
Menominee River near McAllister affecting Marinette and Menominee
Counties.
For the Menominee River...including Florence, Twin Falls Dam-Iron
Mountain, Vulcan, Niagara, Pembine, Menominee River at White Rapids
Dam, Koss, McAllister...Minor, Moderate and Major flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Menominee River near Florence.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flood waters affect homes along Runbers
road in Florence County. This stage compares to a flow rate of
10600 cubic feet per second at the Brule Dam. At 9100 cfs,
floodwaters affect a seasonal home on a private drive off Runbers
Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 9.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:00 PM CDT Monday was 9.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.7 feet
early Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.9
feet on 05/11/1965.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
