For the Menominee River...including Vulcan, McAllister...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Menominee River near McAllister. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, This stage compares to the record flow of 24800 cubic feet per second at White Rapids Dam. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 15.1 feet and rising. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:00 AM CDT Monday was 15.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0 feet early Thursday afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.0 feet on 05/09/1960. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
