At 802 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Jordan Township to 6 miles east of Sigma to near Moddersville. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Houghton Lake, Gaylord, Gladwin, West Branch, Grayling, Roscommon, Lewiston, St. Helen, Mio, Atlanta, Prudenville, Comins, Elmira, Frederic, McKinley, Beaverton, Hillman, Rose City, Lovells, and Vanderbilt.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for northern Michigan. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until midnight EDT for northern Michigan.
