At 340 AM EDT/240 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles north of Iron River to 7 miles south of Parrish. Movement was northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Iron River, Crystal Falls, Stambaugh, Amasa, U.S. 141 between Covington and Amasa, Caspian, Gaastra, Alpha, Way Dam, Stager, Hagerman Lake, Peavy Falls Dam, Mineral Hills, Bewabic State Park, Gibbs City, and Bone Lake.
