Description:
At 441 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Otter Lake to near Davison to Goodrich.
Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lapeer, Imlay City, Almont, Brown City, North Branch, Columbiaville,
Hadley, Dryden, Metamora, Otter Lake, Clifford, Lum, Attica,
Burnside, Elba, Goodland Township, Silverwood, Thornville, and Kings
Mill.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
