Description:
At 239 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
North Higgins Lake, or 9 miles west of Roscommon, moving northeast at
45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Grayling, Roscommon, South Branch Township, Higgins Lake, North
Higgins Lake, and South Higgins Lake.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
