At 845 PM EDT/745 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Watersmeet, or 22 miles northwest of Iron River, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Watersmeet, Kenton, Paint Lake, Tamarack Lake, Land O Lakes, Gibbs City, and Golden Lake.
