Description:
At 930 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Stutsmanville, or near Harbor Springs, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Pellston, Mackinaw City, Indian River,
Conway, Carp Lake, Alanson, Bliss, Cross Village, Topinabee, Good
Hart, Stutsmanville, Brutus, Pleasant View, Burt Lake, Levering,
Bayshore, Oden, and Bay View.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
