Description: 
At 528 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Sturgis, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sturgis, Three Rivers, Bronson, Constantine, Union City, White Pigeon, Centreville, Colon, Nottawa, Girard, Flowerfield, Fawn River, Mottville, Batavia, Leonidas, Mendon, Burr Oak, Gilead, Sherwood, and Klinger Lake. This includes Interstate 69 in Michigan near mile marker 21.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for southwestern Michigan.
