Description:
Snowmelt will continue through Friday with increasingly warm
temperatures and humidity. Thunderstorms are possible Friday night
which could bring over a half in of rainfall, adding to the flood
risk.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Upper Michigan, including the
following county, Menominee.
* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Menominee County is mainly snow free. However, water levels
remain high from recent heavy rains and upstream snowmelt.
Additional rainfall with thunderstorms this evening will
increase the flood risk.
