* WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by a potential dam failure is possible at the Hesperia Dam. * WHERE...A portion of west central Michigan, including the following county, Oceana. * WHEN...Through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Dam failure may result in flash flooding of low-lying areas below the dam. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Local officials and emergency management report water continues to rise rapidly on the White River in Hesperia. Water is currently flowing over the spillway of the Hesperia Dam, and may soon begin overtopping the dam itself. Water is already impacting the structure of the Divison Street bridge upstream of the dam. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
