Description:
Significant snowpack remains over the northern and eastern U.P.
Temperatures well above freezing and higher humidity will continue
to increase snowmelt. Over the south-central U.P. snowpack had
eroded but rivers, streams, creeks, and low laying areas remained
high or full. Additional showers and a few thunderstorms are
possible Wednesday night.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of western Upper Michigan, including the
following counties, Gogebic and Ontonagon.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
