Significant snowpack remains over the northern and eastern U.P. Temperatures well above freezing and higher humidity will continue to increase snowmelt. Over the south-central U.P. snowpack had eroded but rivers, streams, creeks, and low laying areas remained high or full. Additional showers and a few thunderstorms are possible Wednesday night. * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central Upper and western Upper Michigan, including the following areas, in central Upper Michigan, Alger, Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Iron, Luce, Marquette, Menominee, Northern Schoolcraft and Southern Schoolcraft.
