...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Michigan...
Grand River at Robinson Township affecting Ottawa County.
Muskegon River at Bridgeton affecting Newaygo County.
Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County.
Muskegon River At Evart affecting Osceola County.
Grand River near Comstock Park affecting Kent County.
Portage River near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County.
Muskegon River Near Croton affecting Newaygo County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Muskegon River at Newaygo.
* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Flood water begins surrounding properties
downstream from the City of Newaygo in the areas of Old Women's
Bend and Anderson Flats in Garfield Township. Expect minor
flooding in Sycamore Flats.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 12.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EDT Wednesday was 13.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Sunday morning and continue falling to 10.3 feet

- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
12.3 feet on 04/17/1971.
