Chocolay River near Harvey affecting Marquette County. .Snowmelt and recent rainfall resulting in rivers reaching critical levels. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Chocolay River near Harvey. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, The fishing pier and parking lot near the M-28 bridge will be under water. Timber Lane and Riverside Road may be closed. Homes along Timber Lane...and some along Riverside Road...will experience extensive flooding * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Sunday was 10.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling to 5.3 feet Sunday, April 26. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.8 feet on 10/19/2016. - www.weather.gov/safety/flood
