Warning for the following rivers in Michigan...
Tahquamenon River near Paradise affecting Luce County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is expected to occur within the next 24
hours.
* WHERE...Tahquamenon River near Paradise.
* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, The river exceeds bankfull stage
At 10.3 feet, The river is at the high water mark set in May of
1960. No known significant flooding impacts are known for river
heights at or below this stage
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 9.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to crest at 10.1 feet on
Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.0 feet on 04/19/2023.
