...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Michigan...
Chocolay River near Harvey affecting Marquette County.
.Rain has fallen on a deep primed snowpack, which has led to
snowmelt increasing. Flows in rivers could increase quickly and
reach critical levels.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Chocolay River near Harvey.
* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, The fishing pier and parking lot near the
M-28 bridge will be under water. Timber Lane and Riverside Road
may be closed. Homes along Timber Lane...and some along Riverside
Road...will experience extensive flooding
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 10.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM EDT Friday was 10.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.8
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.8 feet on 10/19/2016.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
