Pleasant affecting Isabella County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Michigan... Looking Glass River Near Eagle affecting Clinton County. Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County. Muskegon River Near Croton affecting Newaygo County. Muskegon River At Evart affecting Osceola County. Grand River near Comstock Park affecting Kent County. Portage River near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County. Muskegon River at Bridgeton affecting Newaygo County. Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County. Pine River at Alma affecting Gratiot County. .Numerous rounds of recent heavy rains continue to work through the river systems. Major flooding continues on the Muskegon River, with minor to moderate flooding on certain sections of the Grand River and other smaller rivers. One final round of rain moves through late tonight and adds an additional one-half inch or so of rain to most areas. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Grand River near Comstock Park. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Homes along Willow Drive and Abrigador Trail have flooded basements and Abrigador Trail is closed. Riverbank Street northeast in Plainfield Township is flooded and homes along Riverbank Street have flooded basements. Konkle Drive northeast in Plainfield township is flooded. At 16.0 feet, Major flooding on homes along Abrigador Trail, Willow Drive, Riverbank Street and Konkle Drive. In Comstock Park and Plainfield Township approximately 100 homes affected by flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:39 AM EDT Friday the stage was 13.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:39 AM EDT Friday was 13.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.1 feet Monday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.1 feet on 04/08/2023. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
