For the Au Sable River...including Red Oak...Major flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Au Sable River near Red Oak.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 7.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM EDT Friday was 8.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tonight and continue falling to 4.9 feet Friday, April
24.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
6.9 feet on 04/15/2014.
