Michigan...
East Branch Escanaba River at Gwinn affecting Marquette County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Branch Escanaba River at Gwinn.
* WHEN...From Friday evening to Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 7.9 feet, Water reaches the bottom girder of the M-35
bridge
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:24 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 6.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow
evening to 7.6 feet Saturday evening. It will fall below
flood stage Sunday afternoon to 4.8 feet Tuesday evening then
rise again.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
7.9 feet on 04/17/2002.
