* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central Michigan, including the following county, Gratiot. * WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 400 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. - Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches with locally 4 inches fell since Tuesday evening. This has resulted in flooding and road washouts in spots. Therefore the Flood Warning has been extended until 1100 AM this Wednesday morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Alma, Ithaca, St. Louis, Breckenridge, Wheeler, Sumner, North Star, Ashley, Perrinton, Gratiot Community Airport, Pompeii, Middleton, Forest Hill, Elm Hall, Bannister and Riverdale. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
