* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Michigan, including the following county, Gratiot. * WHEN...Until 515 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1116 PM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. - Almost 2 inches have fallen in the last hour with an additional 1 to 2 inches expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Alma, Ithaca, St. Louis, Breckenridge, Wheeler, Sumner, North Star, Ashley, Perrinton, Gratiot Community Airport, Pompeii, Middleton, Forest Hill, Elm Hall, Bannister and Riverdale. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
