* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Michigan, including the following counties, Mecosta and Montcalm. * WHEN...Until 415 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1014 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. - Heavy rain has spread into Montcalm and Mecosta Counties with rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour. Rainfall is expected to continue for the next several hours with additional heavy rain likely, therefore a Flood Warning has been issued. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Big Rapids, Greenville, Stanton, Howard City, Edmore, Carson City, Lakeview, Morley, Mecosta, Canadian Lakes, Crystal, Sidney, Remus, Millbrook, Sheridan, Sand Lake, Barryton, Stanwood, McBride and Pierson. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
