For the Rifle River...including Sterling...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Manistee River...including Sherman...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rifle River near Sterling. * WHEN...Until early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of homes along Pinnacle Drive and Miller Road. Flooding of Crystal Creek Campground along Grove Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:30 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:30 PM EDT Tuesday was 11.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet this evening.
