For the Rifle River...including Sterling...Moderate flooding is
occurring and forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring. Moderate flooding is
forecast to continue into tonight with minor flooding continuing
afterwards through Friday afternoon.
* WHERE...Rifle River near Sterling.
* WHEN...Until late Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of homes along Pinnacle Drive and
Miller Road. Flooding of Crystal Creek Campground along Grove
Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 11.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 4.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:30 AM EDT Tuesday was 11.3 feet.
