Portage River near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Portage River near Vicksburg. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 5.0 feet, Expect overflows into wooded areas, yards, a few outbuildings, and farmland adjacent to the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:50 PM EDT Thursday, April 9, the stage was 5.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood stage at 5.1 feet.
