* WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by a potential dam failure is possible at the Hesperia Dam. * WHERE...A portion of west central Michigan, including the following county, Oceana. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Dam failure may result in flash flooding of low-lying areas below the dam. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Local officials and emergency management report water remains very high on the White River in Hesperia. Water is currently flowing over the spillway of the Hesperia Dam, and may begin overtopping the dam itself. Additional rain overnight continues to increase water levels. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
