Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of western Maryland, including the following
areas, Eastern Garrett, Extreme Western Allegany and Western
Garrett and eastern West Virginia, including the following areas,
Western Grant, Western Mineral and Western Pendleton.
* WHEN...Through this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to
move across the area this morning into the early afternoon.
Some thunderstorms will produce heavy rain. Localized
rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Given days of
soaking rains and creeks and streams running high, this could
result in flooding.
