* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Calvert County in southern Maryland...
Southeastern Prince Georges County in central Maryland...
East central Charles County in southern Maryland...
* Until 800 PM EDT.
* At 733 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Golden Beach,
or near Sheridan Point, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Chesapeake Ranch Estates, Chesapeake Beach, Prince Frederick,
Cuckold Creek, Calvert Cliffs, Greenwell State Park, Saint Leonard
Creek, Breezy Point, Flag Harbor, Lusby, Saint Leonard,
Huntingtown, Drum Point, Hughesville, Owings, Long Beach, Charlotte
Hall, Aquasco, Calvert Beach, and Benedict.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
