Description:
* WHAT...Dangerous Rip Currents. Breaking waves of 4 to 6 ft will
result in rough surf conditions and a high risk of rip
currents.
* WHERE...In Maryland, the Maryland Atlantic beaches including
Ocean City. In North Carolina, the Atlantic beaches of the
northern Outer Banks including Corolla. In Virginia, Virginia
Beach, and the Atlantic beaches of Accomack County including
Assateague.
* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.
Instruction:
Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
