Description:
At 518 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Caribou to 6 miles south of Mapleton to 10
miles north of Shin Pond. Movement was east at 65 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Mapleton, Washburn,
Mars Hill, Easton, Woodland, Bridgewater, Masardis, Loring, Scopan,
Dudley Township, Monticello, Blaine, New Sweden, Westfield, Chapman,
and Connor.
This includes US Highway 1 between Bridgewater and Caribou.
Instruction:
