...The National Weather Service in Gray ME has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in New Hampshire...Maine... Saco River At Conway affecting Oxford, Carroll and Cumberland Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Saco River at Conway. * WHEN...Until late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs as floodwaters surround properties across Transvale Acres. Flood waters 1 to 2 feet deep in sections of east bank camping areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 8.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early this morning to a crest of 9.6 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
