Description: 
At 803 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pine Island to near Leblanc to near De Quincy to Lakeview. Movement was south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Beaumont, Lake Charles, Sulphur, Orange, Nederland, Lumberton, Vidor, Jennings, Bridge City, Westlake, West Orange, Welsh, Vinton, Iowa, Kinder, Fenton, Reeves, Deweyville, Moss Bluff, and De Quincy. This includes the following highways... Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 880 and 851. Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 64. Interstate 210 between mile markers 1 and 12.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
